Deliver Amazon standard and grocery blocks and make £14 -£18* an hour
Amazon standard and grocery blocks last between 1-5 hours and require you to pick up all packages from an Amazon delivery station, Amazon Fresh station, or Stores pickup location at the start of your block. Once picked up, you’ll deliver the packages to each delivery stop using the Amazon Flex app and only go back to the delivery station if you are unable to deliver some of your assigned packages.
What vehicle do I need?
A mid-size car with capacity of 5+ seats. Cars with fewer than 5 seats are not eligible to be used for deliveries, with the exception of vans and/or enclosed bed pickup trucks (in order to protect parcels from weather).
Large Vehicle Blocks
Large vehicle blocks require vehicles with increased boot/back seat space. These blocks will be labelled ‘Large Vehicle’ in the app. Eligible large passenger vehicles are usually bigger than a car and have a large boot space. Examples include people carriers, some multi-purpose vehicles (MPVs), vans, large 4x4s and sport utility vehicles (SUVs). Depending on the vehicle that you use to deliver with Amazon Flex, you may see large vehicle block offers in the Amazon Flex app, in addition to delivery blocks for standard sized vehicles.
How to sign up for Amazon standard and grocery deliveries
1. Download the Amazon Flex app.
2. Sign in to your Amazon account or create an Amazon account.
3. On the Vehicle screen, select: Car
Note: Once you complete onboarding, you will only see offers for your vehicle in the Amazon Flex app and you will not be able to switch vehicle type.
4. Follow the in-app steps to continue creating your account.
Here's what you need to sign-up:
- Be 18+ years old
- Have a valid UK driver’s licence
- Have a valid UK National Insurance Number
- Have a mid-size or larger vehicle with 5 seats or more
- Have proof of your right to work in the UK (e.g. passport, eVisa)
- Have a UK bank account
- Have a valid commercial vehicle insurance (also referred to as Hire and Reward) as well as the minimum Social, Domestic and Pleasure (SD&P) as required by law
*Earnings estimates are based on location and delivering a number of packages across an estimated length of time (referred to as a block), completed while driving a standard motorized vehicle. Should Amazon Flex introduce blocks eligible to be delivered using scooters or other alternative modes of transportation, different rates may apply. We aim to ensure that the number of packages you are assigned to deliver within your block is realistic, taking into account congestion and the primary requirement to drive safely. However, the actual time taken per delivery may vary (because it could, occasionally, take less or more time than expected) so the earnings per hour may vary.
