Amazon Flex
Requirements

What do you need to deliver with Amazon Flex?

To sign up to Amazon Flex, simply download the app on your iPhone or Android device. Then you can begin the registration process, which includes going through various steps to set up your account and passing a background check. Please note, you may be placed on a waiting list until we begin onboarding more delivery drivers. We tend to onboard more as we head into the busy summer and winter months and will send you an email as soon as we’re onboarding more delivery drivers in your area.

Once you have fully registered with Amazon Flex and are off the waiting list, simply open the app to see available delivery blocks in your area and find a time that suits you. As a self-employed delivery driver you will get paid by Amazon Flex via direct deposit once a week, which you can track in the Earnings section within the Amazon Flex app. To find out more about how and when you will be paid, visit our FAQs page.

Live in an area where Amazon Flex operates.

To find an Amazon Flex location near you, visit our Locations page to see the full list of regions, towns and cities with Amazon Flex depots. We regularly update the list of areas where we are onboarding more delivery drivers. These pick-up locations could be a delivery station, warehouse or a Morrisons or Co-op supermarket in the local area, where you will pick-up packages for delivery.

Don't see your area on the list? No problem! You can still download the app and create an account to let us know you're interested in becoming a delivery driver. You will be added to our waiting list in case an opportunity opens up near you.

Be 18 or older.

The windscreen and mirrors must not be cracked or damaged (windscreen cracks cannot be more than 10mm in the driver’s line of sight and 40mm outside of the driver’s line of sight). The tyres must have sufficient tread (>1.6mm) without cuts or budges. Additionally, your car is required to have a valid licence plate that is not damaged, obscured or cracked with a valid MOT and taxed, as per https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-status.

The e-bike you use to deliver should be battery operated and meet all applicable laws and safety requirements. You are required to wear a helmet while riding an e-bike.

When delivering with e-bike, you are required to have an insulated backpack or e-bike cargo box with minimum internal dimensions of 55 cm x 26 cm x 36 cm that can securely hold at least 15 kg of packages.

E-bike must meet all Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle (EAPC) standards and legal requirements without any unlawful modifications. Learn more on our FAQ page.
